This hot-melt system for case and carton sealing that reduces adhesive costs and boosts packaging production is as notable for what it has as for what it doesn’t have.
Graco is partnering with adhesive dispensing experts OBX Works Inc. to highlight advanced features available for the InvisiPac Tank-Free Hot Melt Systems in Booth #675 at PackEx Toronto, June 16-18, 2015 at the Toronto Congress Centre, Toronto, Ontario. Graco along with eight other adhesives vendors will also be at PackEx.
The InvisiPac System is engineered to reduce adhesive costs up to 50% and boosting production in packaging applications.
What it has is a warm up time of less than 10 minutes while eliminating tank char and nozzle plugging as a proven alternative to traditional hot melt tanks in packaging applications.
Along with the system, OBX Works will highlight new developments including:
- InvisiPac LineSite Remote Monitoring Solution for optimal process control by allowing users to view machine conditions from a smart phone, tablet, or computer;
- Optional InvisiPac GM100 Plug-Free Hot Melt Applicator that has all the advantages of plug-free adhesive dispensing in a compact, patent-pending module tip filter;
- InvisiPac Pattern Control System that allows the precise application of the proper amount of adhesive in exactly the right location. Users can convert from a solid bead to a stitched bead for individual beads or an entire pattern. It turns on and off with the push of a button.
